Facebook vs. Facetime

Hey - it’s Josh. Here’s a blast from the past. How on earth did you keep in touch with people before you went online? If you were like most real estate investors, I’m guessing you had one of three things going on:

1) You were on the phone all day, and salivated like crazy when you got your first cell phone.

2) You spent a lot of time on lunches, events, and parties.

3) You only talked to people when you wanted something.

How excited did you get when you signed up for your first e-mail account? You discovered this incredibly easy way to keep in touch with family and friends, right? Maybe you got a website next, set up a way to build your e-mail list, and started using e-mail to send stuff to customers and colleagues. You might have even gotten sidetracked with the apps when you put up the Facebook page. But once you caught the Twitter bug, game over. You got hooked on electronic communication.

Electronic short cuts are great for keeping in touch, but don’t sacrifice face time just to concentrate on Facebook. If you’re in real estate investing, your business is too local for you to think your internet marketing is going to do all the work for you.

Read my report, Sales Mastery for Short Sales. Even if you have tons of sales training already, you owe it to yourself to get more specific how that all applies to real estate investing. Don’t have it yet? Get it free when you sign up for Strategic Real Estate Coach’s Silver Membership.

Don’t give up the information highway, though. We like to keep in touch with you, too. Follow me on Facebook and Twitter. It just takes a couple of minutes a day, and you’ll be one of the first to know when something really cool happens!

See you online,
Josh
